FSSAI will collect lost samples from markets across the country
According to the FSSAI, a campaign will be launched against the adulterated loss. Under this, large-scale samples of lost and mauve will be sent from the mandi of various states for investigation. Through this investigation, FSSAI will help in identifying hot spots of fake or adulterated khoya across the country.
Most samples in Delhi failed in the quality test
The food regulator in Dasarasal, Delhi had received many complaints of poor quality khoya and sweets from consumers. After which the FSSAI collected samples from several places in Delhi like Mori Gate Khoya Mandi from 31 August to 4 September and sent for investigation. Most of which were failed in the sample quality test. Only after this, the food regulator decided to conduct a sample test of khoya and sweets across the country.
Food Safety Wheel' will also be deployed
In all the states and union territories, orders have been given to the food commissioner to collect lost samples from the big market. Along with this, Food Safety on Wheels will also be deployed near major markets from October 12 to October 16. Customers can check on food safety on wheels by giving samples of their khoya. The food regulator will also encourage consumers or customers to come forward and get the lost test done.
Quality test results will come in 1 month
According to the FSSAI, this nationwide action against adulterated Khoya where a sample will be investigated and its results will come in a month. Through this action, food regulators are not only sold or sold in adulterated khoya. It will be easy to identify such hot spots, along with many new strict rules regarding adulterated khoya - will also help in making rules
