Food vendors will be trained every two years, will have to take a certificate from a private company

The (Food license) food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI Registration) of the Central Government has issued new instructions to the Health, Safety and Regulation Department of all the states. In this, it is compulsory for all food vendors to take one-day of training every two years. In this training, hotels, Dhaba businessmen will be told about the method of making food and the system of cleanliness.

After training from private companies, the food retailer will give the company a certificate and a kit. The Ministry has selected different companies for each district for imparting training. For this, hotel, Dhaba operators, and food vendors will have to pay a fee of Rs 500.

Assistant Commissioner of Health, Safety and Regulation Department Kangra, Manjit Singh Jaryal said that instructions have been received regarding the training of food vendors. Soon training workshops will be organized at the subdivision, block, town, town level. In this, representatives of the fixed company will train vendors and operators. 11 companies have been selected for Himachal's 12 districts. The same company will set up workshops in Kullu and Lahaul-Spiti districts.

The training company will make refreshments for those coming to the workshop. In addition, the company will give a certificate and kit. Gloves, caps, and masks will be provided in the kit. Along with this, people will be made aware of keeping cleanliness and providing quality food items to the people.
