Food companies will no longer be able to use harmful ink - FSSAI

Now new rules will bring inks to be used on food packaged. Fasai is bringing new regulations on printing inc. Till now, there were no rules regarding the ink used on food packets. Actually, BIS has a complete list of inks used on food packages. But food companies take BIS rules as volatile, but now this will not happen. Regulation of the butchery will be mandatory and companies will have to use ink that comes in direct contact with food items with caution.

FSSAI Advisor (Standards) Kumar Anil said that after this regulation, the ink used on food packets will fall under a rule and companies will not be able to use any harm inc. BIS has already banned the use of a chemical named toluene. It occurs in Chemical Inc. Which is very harmful to the human body. It can also damage our nervous system and brain by damaging the liver and kindly. But sadly, 90 percent of food companies in the food packaging market in India use toluene on food packets.
